ABOUT WCIT

The Washington Council on International Trade (WCIT) is a private, non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)6 association supported by corporate, government, academic, and individual members. Our mission is to promote strong, open, and sustainable international trade policy that advances economic opportunities for Washington State.

WCIT delivers services to members in three core services areas:

1. Analysis: keeping you up to date on critical international trade policy developments and helping you to understand how they will affect your company’s bottom line.

2. Access: connecting you with key government policy makers and business decision makers  who will provide your company access to new overseas markets and/or solutions to your international trade concern

3. Advocacy: representing Washington State company international trade policy interests to Congressional and federal leaders.

For 35 years, WCIT has been the number 1 policy resource for Washington State companies engaged in international trade. Broadly respected for its credible and independent voice, WCIT is the primary information resource on international trade issues for elected representatives, business leaders, the media, educators, and community groups in Washington State.
