OUTSOURCING
- THE ISSUES BEHIND THE DEBATE
The
debate over lost jobs is currently raging in this 2004 election year.
From both parties, much of the discussion is focusing on the indisputable
fact. Jobs are going overseas. Some of the tougher questions are being
addressed far too rarely. Questions such as:
If we're outsourcing, are other countries outsourcing to us?
What about safety nets for dislocated workers?
What of job creation here?
We are gathering here some of the most thoughtful discussions on this
